What’s the difference between bespoke and personalised stationery?

The short answer is that bespoke designs are created from scratch uniquely for you, while personalised designs are ready-designed collections that you can order through the site which we personalise with your details and colour choices especially for your day.

How much will my stationery cost?

You can find out the cost of Personalised Stationery by selecting the quantity and options you would like on that product's page. Bespoke projects are quoted for on a case by case basis, based on personalised collection pricing plus a bespoke design fee. Read the Bespoke Stationery page or contact us for more details. We will always make sure you have a total cost for the designs you have ordered before we begin the process. There will be no surprises! All prices include electronic proofs, digital printing and delivery to one UK address.

What about VAT?

There’s no VAT to pay.

How much is shipping?

FREE shipping to one UK address is included in the price! Hurrah! If you are in Ireland there'll be a small p&p charge for orders over £40.

How do I place my Bespoke order?

Contact us to discuss your needs and we will send you an invoice for your Bespoke order. This must be paid before we begin work on design.

How long will the design and printing take?

Timescales for different orders will vary and we will agree deadlines with you but 2-3 weeks for personalised designs and 4-6 weeks for bespoke projects (depending on complexity) is a good rule of thumb.

I need something sooner, can you help?

Probably! Ask us about our express service.

Can you arrange printing?

Yes! Digital printing is included in the price.

What will the quality be like?

Our designs are printed on high quality 250gsm tintoretto gesso stock which has a little texture and is creamy in colour. Our recommended envelopes are kraft, we think they look great with our designs. If you prefer we have matching tintoretto gesso and light grey envelopes too.

Will I get a printed proof?

Prices include digital proofs as standard which are emailed to you. If you would like to see a printed, hard copy proof you can purchase one as an add on to your order. 

I’d like extra items to match my personalised designs.

No problem. We can design all sorts of paper goods to match any of our personalised designs.

When should I send my invitations?

That depends a bit on whether you’re sending a save the date or not. If you are sending one then you might want to send the invite about 3-4 months before. If not you might want to do it 5-8 months before.

Should I send a save the date?

In our experience if your wedding is on a popular summer weekend, you have lots of friends also planning a wedding the same year or you might not know many details of the wedding until closer to the date then a save the date could be a very good idea.

Do you just do weddings?

Not at all. If you’re having a party that needs an eye catching invite or you’ve had a baby you need to tell folks about have a look at our Event Stationery or get in touch.

I’m based outside the UK can I still order?

We're really sorry, not at the moment.

What about the environment?

Our standard paper, Tintoretto Gesso (and matching envelope) is FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified. Our kraft envelope is 100% recycled.

I’ve changed my mind, can I get a refund?

We’re sorry but refunds are only available for non-personalised items such as greetings cards.

My order has arrived damaged.

Oh no! This almost never happens but if it does contact us within 10 days of receiving the order and we’ll discuss how best to make it right.

My order hasn’t arrived, what should I do?

Don’t panic, if you haven’t had an email from us to say your stationery has shipped it could be that there’s been a delay at the printers. If you have already received an email from us and your stationery hasn’t arrived when you expected it to please get in touch and we’ll track it for you.

There’s a mistake in the text of my design.

We ask that you check your design proofs really carefully before signing them off by email and letting us send them to print. Once they go to print no further amends can be made. If you do find a mistake that you missed, don’t panic. Contact us and we will discuss reprinting, unfortunately we will need to charge for this.

I only need a small number of invitations can you help?

You’ll get best value for money by ordering 50 or more of each item but we know some couples will be planning smaller weddings so we offer smaller amounts of 25 and 35 at special prices for our most popular items. You can find out more on the product pages.
